Betreuungskonzept
Das Betreuungskonzept bildet neben dem Studienprogramm die zweite und besonders wichtige Säule der Doktorandenausbildung. Der Promotionsbetreuer bzw. die Promotionsbetreuerin soll zusammen mit einer weiteren Professorin bzw. einem weiteren Professor der jeweils anderen Fachdisziplin ein Betreuerteam bilden, um vor dem Hintergrund der interdisziplinären Themenstellung des Graduiertenkollegs eine optimale Betreuung zu gewährleisten.
Die Erfolgskontrolle in Bezug auf den Fortgang der Dissertation wird durch regelmäßige Forschungsberichte an das Betreuerteam sichergestellt. Zudem wird die Forschungsarbeit der Graduierten auf insgesamt drei Berichtskolloquien diskutiert und evaluiert.
Die Aufgaben sowohl des Betreuerteams als auch des jeweiligen Graduierten bzw. der Graduierten werden in einer Betreuungsvereinbarung festgehalten, die die optimale Betreuung der Doktorarbeit sicherstellen soll.
Mentoring Concept
The support concept, in addition to the academic program, is the second very important pillar of the doctoral training. The doctoral supervisor in coordination with a second professor of the other discipline shall form a close mentoring team in light of the interdisciplinary approach of the graduate school.
The continuous progress of the dissertation will be ensured through regular consultation with the mentoring team. Additionally, the research work of each doctoral student will be discussed and evaluated at three independent seminars.
The duties of both, the mentoring team and the respective doctoral student, will be defined in a mutual mentoring agreement in order to ensure an optimal progress of the dissertation.
